HI I would like to know if the courses offered by Annamalai University are recognised by Government and is recognised by University Grants Commision?as well as the government involvement in the University

Annamalai University is one of the Universities perceived by the University Grants Commission with the end goal of its Grants. Subsequently the Degrees/Diplomas granted by the Annamalai University which is built up by an Act of this Government would stand automaticallyrecognised with the end goal of business under Center/State Governments.

A duplicate of this letter alongside a duplicate of the letter refered to has been sent to the Director, Directorate of Distance Education, Annamalai University, Annamalainagar – 608 002 to give you advance more insights in regards to acknowledgment.

In the wake of suspending the Vice-Chancellor and designating an Administrator for the harried Annamalai University, Tamil Nadu Government today moved to annul a demonstration relating to the varsity and carry it keeping pace with establishments representing rest of the foundations in the state.

Tamil Nadu Governor K Rosiah had on April 6 suspended University Vice-Chancellor M Ramanathan taking after affirmations of money related and different inconsistencies.

Government had designated senior IAS officer Shivdas Meena as the Administrator of the college.
