Annamalai University The Department of Biochemistry & Biotechnology was Started in 1994.

In a short span of time it made rapid studies in both teaching and research.

Teachers have Achieved Excellence Both in Teaching and Research.


The Department has also Organized 22 National Conferences and Three International Conferences where Participants have come from different Institutes and Universities in India and abroad.

Number of Staff are Reviewers of a number of leading Journals in India and Overseas.

Staff Members have obtained funds from different funding agencies, like

DST,
ICMR
DAE


Many of our students have obtained fellowships from different funding agencies like UGC,
