UNIT II ARITHMETIC OPERATIONS ALU - Addition and subtraction – Multiplication – Division – Floating Point operations – Subword parallelism. UNIT III PROCESSOR AND CONTROL UNIT Basic MIPS implementation – Building datapath – Control Implementation scheme – Pipelining – Pipelined datapath and control – Handling Data hazards & Control hazards – Exceptions.
