Andhra University Physical Education Department was established in the year The, 27th August 1927 .

The Andhra University Sports Board, organizes Inter Collegiate Tournaments to 175 Affiliated Colleges. Apart from organizing Inter- Collegiate Tournaments the AU Sports Board conduct University selection trials for the following Games & Sports.
