Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham conducts entrance examination across India annually for admission to B. Tech programmes offered at Amrita Schools of Engineering - Amritapuri, Bengaluru & Coimbatore.

Admission to B. Tech programme is only through Amrita Entrance Examination - Engineering conducted every year. Examination is conducted in two modes: Computer Based Test (CBT) mode and Pen & Paper Based Test (P&P).

B. Tech. Eligibility Requirements
Age: Applicants, whose date of birth, as per school records, falls on or after 1st July, 1997.
Educational Qualification: A pass in 10+2 (Class XII) or its equivalent exam securing an aggregate of 60% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry with minimum 55% in each of these 3 subjects.
