The Amrita School of Engineering (ASE), Coimbatore campus was commenced on October 27, 1994. In erstwhile ASE is known as an Amrita Institute of Technology and Science.

The College offers extremely well designed B.Tech. and M.Tech programmes in various disciplines. Apart from this college offers MCA degree Ph.D in Engineering and Sciences.
