Dates to apply for
AMIE exam Winter 2017 shall be conducted at 70 Examination Centres in India and abroad from December 02, 2017. You can apply for the exam as per the schedule mentioned below.

Eligibility for AMIE 2017 Exam:

Candidates having recognized 3-year Polytechnic Diploma or its equivalent, in any branch of engineering or +2/HSC/PDC with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics with minimum 45% marks can apply for AMIE 2017.

A candidate shall be required to pass the Institution Examinations, both in Existing Scheme and Revised Scheme, within a specific period as mentioned her under :

Section A : 6 Years

Section B : 6 Years

Exam fees
Exam fee is Rs. 3000/-. DD should be in favour of "THE INSTITUTION OF ENGINEERS (INDIA) Payable at KOLKATA.

Overseas exam fee is $ 225.

Exam pattern
It is objective type of examination.
Time limit provided to solve the given AMIE 2017 Exam is 3 hours.

Section A (diploma): 3

Section A (non- diploma): 5
