The Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers is a professional certification given by Institution of Engineers

Eligibility:

Applicants having recognized 3-year Polytechnic Diploma or its equivalent, in any branch of engineering or +2/HSC/PDC with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics with minimum 45% marks

Applicants shall be required to pass the Institution Examinations, both in Existing Scheme and Revised Scheme, within a specific period as mentioned hereunder :

Section A : 6 Years

Section B : 6 Years

Important Dates

The AMIE Winter 2014 Examinations of Sections 'A' and 'B' shall be conducted in India and abroad between December 06 and December 12, 2014.

The dates December 06, 07, 08, 09, 10, 11 and 12 will be referred to as Day 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 respectively.

Paper Pattern

AIME exams are held twice a year, called Summer and Winter examinations.

Each paper is of 3 hours and applicants can appear only limited number of papers at a time.

There are two sections:

Section A - 3 papers
Section B - 5 papers
