Ambedkar University Delhi was founded by Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi in 2007 and was notified in 2008. It is a unitary structure with various schools that offer diverse courses in distinct fields of humanities, social science and management. it ensures its campus environment is completely student friendly and progressive in nature.

It celebrates life by encouraging its students to explore the creativity they are endowed with; this adds colour to their lives as well as to the life of the campus. The annual cultural festival of the university - AUD@CITY - is a platform that calls the entire university to join hands with young talents in the country to create an environment that suffuses people with the spirit of life.
