Ambedkar University Delhi, formerly Bharat Ratna Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University, was established by the Government of the NCT of Delhi through an Act of the Delhi Legislature. The University began functioning in August 2008.

About MA in Sociology

The Masters (MA) Programme in Sociology at AUD is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills that will make them engaged citizens of the world capable of critical thinking and reflective action.

Duration: 2 years (4 semesters)

Eligibility:
Bachelors degree with 45 % marks (or an equivalent grade) from a recognized University. Relaxation of 5% marks for candidate belonging to SC, ST and PD categories
