Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society of Central Connecticut State University was installed in 2003. In addition to meeting regularly, it developed and maintained tutoring services in conjunction with the Learning Center. After 2004, it was inactive until fall of 2007. The group was reactivated for 2007-2008 and is being reactivated again in fall 2011.

Its mission is to encourage superior academic achievement to promote intelligent living and a continued high standard of learning, and to assist students in recognizing and developing meaningful goals for their unique roles in society.
