Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on behalf of Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will conduct the process of admission to AMU (Aligarh Muslim University) MBBS/ BDS.


One who wishes to participate for AMU MBBS admissions must qualify for the NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) exam and fulfil the eligibility conditions as specified by the authority. Around 150 MBBS and 40 BDS seats will be offered in AMU for MBBS admission on the basis of marks obtained in NEET exam.


AMU MBBS Application Dates (Tentative)

NEET exam May 3, 2020
NEET result June 4, 2020
Round one of registrations
Online registration starts Second week of June 2020
Last date to fill application form Last week of June 2020
Second round of registration
Release of AMU MBBS application form Second week of July 2020
Last date of registration Second week of July 2020
Mop-up round
Availability of application form Second week of August 2020
Last date to register Third week of August 2020


AMU MBBS BDS Application Form

One who want to take admission into MBBS and BDS courses need to fill the application form of AMU. The documents to be attached with application form are as follows:
Admit Cards of Exam /Result/ Rank letter issued by NTA.
Date of Birth Certificate (if Metric Certificate does not bear the same)
Class 10th Certificate
Class 10+2 Marks Sheet Provisional allotment letter generated on-line.
Proof of identity (Aadhar/ PAN/ Driving Licence/ Passport)
SC/ST/OBC/BC Certificate
Disability Certificate issued from a duly constituted and authorized Medical Board
As applicable for NRIs


AMU MBBS Eligibility Criteria

One must be of Indian citizens.

NRI aspirants can also fill AMU application form to apply for seats available under AMU NRI quota.

One must have pass Class 12 or equivalent qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as the main subjects.

One must have secured the minimum qualifying percentile of NEET, as specified by the authority. The category-wise NEET cut off percentile is as follows:
