Akash Missile In IAF
According to me Akash Missile is a biggest achievement for IAF . When will the Indian Air Force (IAF) start user trials for this missile ? Would you please provide me full detail of Akash Missile so I will get idea about it ? What is the power performance of this Missile ??????

Akash is a medium-range mobile Surface-to-Air Missile Defense system developed by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) It is produced by Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) for Missile Systems and Bharat Electronics (BEL) for other radars, control centers in India. It is in operational service with the Indian Army and the Indian Air Force. The missile system can target aircraft up to 30 km away, at altitudes up to 18,000 m.
