Can you tell me about the number of Seats for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Post Graduation (NEET PG) conducted by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC)?

Directorate General of health Services, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare has been entrusted with the responsibility to hold on-line counselling for 50% All India Quota Post-Graduate Medical and Dental seats and also as per the notification issued by the MCI for common counselling


Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will conduct counselling for the following Institutions/Universities:-

a) 50 % All India Quota seats for all State Govt. medical/dental colleges/institutes, except state of Jammu and Kashmir as per merit of PG NEET.
b) For all PG seats of the Deemed Universities as per merit of PG NEET.
c) 50 % institutional quota seats for Central Universities of Delhi University, Aligarh Muslim University, and Banaras Hindu University.
d) PG counselling for institutes of Armed Forces Medical Services.
e) The state Govt. of Andhra Pradesh and Telengana are participating in online counselling of All India Quota from the academic year 2019-20 onwards.

NEET PG Counselling


All India Counselling of NEET PG will be for:
All India 50% quota
Medical Educational Institutions of Central Govt.
AFMS Institutions
Universities established by an act of Parliament
Deemed Universities


State Level NEET PG counselling will be for:
State Quota Seats in Government/Private Medical Institutions in a State Institutions established by State. Govt.
Universities established by an Act of State / Union Territory Legislature, Municipal Bodies Trust, society, Company or Minority Institutions

Step-1: Online Registration
Step-2: Choice Filling & Locking
Step-3: Seat Allotment
Step-4: Payment of Fee & Seat Acceptance
Step-5: Seat Allocation Fee Payment
Step-6: Verification of Documents
Step-7: Reporting at the Allotted college/Institute



Documents Required for Counselling

NEET PG admit card issued by NBE

NEET PG result/score card

MBBS mark sheets of first, second and third professional examinations

Provisional/degree certificate of MBBS

Internship completion certificate

Permanent/provisional registration certificate issued by MCI

High school/higher secondary/date of birth certificate as proof of birth date

A valid photo-identity proof (PAN/Aadhar/voter ID/Passport/driving licence)

SC/ST/OBC/OPH certificate (as applicable)
