All India Pre-Medical / Pre-Dental Entrance Test (AIPMT) is a national level entrance examination conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

The admission for 15% of the total seats for medical/dental bachelor degree courses in medical colleges run by Union of India, state government, municipal and other local authorities in India except the state of Jammu & Kashmir is made on the basis of AIPMT merit list.

Exam pattern

Duration:
AIPMT 2015 Exam will be of 3 hours duration

Number of Questions:
The exam will have 180 Multiple Choice Questions (45 questions from each section of Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology)

Marking Scheme:
Candidates will be awarded 4 marks for each correct response and 1 mark will be deducted for incorrect answer.

AIPMT 2015 exam will be of 720 marks
