I want to notify you that the date of the exam is gone. But I am providing you the details so that it may be helpful for you next year: Eligibility: Age Limit: The age must be more than 17 years as on the 31st December of the year of admission. And must be less than 25. Candidate must born on or between (a) 01.01.86 to 01.01.99 (SC/ST/OBC Category) (b) 01.01.91 to 01.01.99 (Other Category) One can give the exam three times. Exam Pattern: The AIPMT 2015 Exam shall consist of one paper containing 180 objective type questions (four options with single correct answer) from Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology) to be answered on the specially designed machine-gradable sheet using Ball Point Pen only. Pattern of the AIPMT Entrance Test is given below. Number of questions in the paper: 180. Type of questions: Multiple choice questions with single answer correct. Each question will be followed by four options out of which only one will be correct. Candidate has to select the correct answer. Mode of exam: Pen and paper type exam. The AIPMT 2015 will be conducted in conventional pen and paper mode only. Candidates will have to mark their answers in a machine-gradable OMR answer sheet. Sections in the AIPMT 2015 question paper: Physics, chemistry, biology. The paper will contain three sections in that order. The biology section shall combine botany and zoology. Duration of exam: 3 hours (180 minutes). Understanding the AIPMT Exam Pattern is very helpful for a student. As the question paper of AIPMT 2015 will be as per the suggested Pattern of AIPMT Exam, the students will see a familiar type of question paper. Language of the Question Papers:- Candidates can opt for Question Paper either in English or in Hindi. Option of Question Paper should be exercised while filling in the application form and the option once exercised by candidates cannot be changed later. Candidates opting for English would be provided Test Booklet in English only and the candidates opt for Hindi would be provided Test Booklet in both Hindi and English, i.e., Bilingual. In case of any ambiguity in translation of any of the questions, its English version shall be treated as final. Marking Scheme: The marking scheme of exam indicates the marks to be awarded or deducted as per answers. The exam being multiple choice question based, marks are given as per correct or incorrect answer. Candidate will select one option only out of the four options in the question (a), (b), (c), (d). For each correct answer +4 marks are given. For incorrect answer, -1 mark is deducted. Please note that the paper has negative marking. Hence candidate should carefully select the answer and not resort to guess work. As the exam has 1 mark negative marking for wrong answers, candidate must be absolutely sure of the answer before marking. Important Dates was: All India Pre-Medical / Pre-Dental Entrance Test (AIPMT), 2015 will be conducted on Sunday the 03rd May 2015 from 10:00 am to 01:00 pm.
