AIMCET (All India MCA Common Entrance Test) is conducted for candidates who want to get admission in the IIT’s in the course of Computer Application at the post graduate level.

This entrance exam is a National Level Test being conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee on behalf of the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India.

Eligibility:
Bachelor's degree of least 3 years duration in any discipline with Mathematics at the (10 + 2) school level or at the Bachelor's level are qualified.

Computer Awareness: (40 questions objective type)

Section will cover logical reasoning, quantitative reasoning, visuo-spatial reasoning

General Awareness: (20 questions objective type)
General awareness about business, finance, industry, transportation, scientific inventions, governance, healthcare and cultural dimensions etc

Application Process:
Applicants can copy the application forms from the AIMCET official website or they can collect it from the given centers available in the AIMCET website.

Exam Tentative Dates:
Notification Dates: January or February
Issue of Admit Card: From May 10th
Date of Entrance Exam: 1st week of June
Last Date for Application form filling: April 30th
Declaration of Results: 30th June or 5th of July
