The span of MAT is 2 hours 30 minutes or 150 minutes and there is no sectional time limit i.e. the hopefuls could move forward and backward between the segments. The 5 areas in the MAT 2016 Exam Pattern are Language Comprehension, Intelligence and Critical Reasoning, Data Analysis and Sufficiency, Mathematical Skills, Indian and Global Environment. There are 40 questions in every segment, and the scores of the Indian and Global Environment are not included the last segment. The hopefuls could begin the exam with any area.

The aggregate signs of the exam are 200 and the scaled score is given out of 800. The MAT Exam Pattern has stayed steady throughout the years.
