Is the application form of All India Institute of Medical Sciences AIIMS PG Entrance Exam available in the month of May?

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) conducts PG Entrance examination twice a year for admission to 160 MD/MS and MDS seats in various streams out of which 150 are medical and 16 are dental seats.

The application form of AIIMS PG Entrance Exam will be available in month of March, 2016.

Tentative dates (July Session )-

Online registration last date March, 2016
Status of applications can be checked and admit cards availability on website April, 2016
AIIMS PG 2016 July session exam date 08th May, 2016 (Sunday)
AIIMS PG 2016 July session result gets declared 14th May, 2016 (Saturday)
1st counseling will begin June, 2016
2nd counseling will begin June, 2016
Open Selection will begin July, 2016

Application Fee-

General / OBC Category: Rs.1000/- +Transaction Charges as applicable

SC/ST Category: Rs. 800/- +Transaction Charges as applicable

OPH Candidates is exempted from payment of any Fee

AIIMS PG Exam Pattern:

For MD/MS:

Duration: 3 Hours

Number of Questions: 200 Objective Type Questions

Negative Marking: 1/3rd of the marks to be deducted for the incorrect response

Syllabus: Exam will be based on the syllabus for MBBS course

For MDS:

Duration: 90 Minutes

No. of questions: 90 Objective type questions

Negative Marking: 1/3rd of the marks to be deducted if the response is incorrect

Syllabus: Exam will be based on the syllabus for BDS course
