The Department of Hematology was established in January 1989. It is a unique department with clinical and laboratory faculty working together under one roof together for better co-ordination, resident training and research activities.

Research Areas :

The Hematology Department is involved in various research activities which include Thalassemia, Hemophilia, Thrombophilia, Aplastic anemia, Leukemia, ITP etc.
