AICTE Doctoral Fellowship

Hi I am interested in having the information on the Review Committee on Post Graduate Education and Research in Technical Education, has introduced National Doctoral Fellowship Scheme?

The All India Council for Technical Education, (AICTE), in compatibility of the suggestions of the Review Committee on Post Graduate Education and Research in Technical Education, has presented National Doctoral Fellowship Scheme from 2002-2003. Under this plan fifty (50) Doctoral Fellowships will be offered each year to chose competitors in rising regions/orders of Technical Education by AICTE to seek after Doctoral system.

Goals

To draw in exceptionally qualified and inspired contender to seek after doctoral degree and offer themselves for showing position in the Technical Education framework.

To give research backing to splendid youthful contender for seeking after energizing and inventive exploration in the field of Technical Education.

Points of interest of plan

Grant @ Rs.18000/month per applicant.

Possibility gift of Rs.25,000/ - per annum per competitor.

Overhead charges of Rs.20,000/ - per annum per contender to the host establishment i.e. Establishment where the competitor will be seeking after Ph.D./Doctoral Program

Time of Scholarship

The above grant should be given for a time of 3 years. In case of non-finish of Ph.D. project or proportionate inside this period the grant can be stretched out up to one more year subject to acceptable execution of the applicant, as surveyed by a free Expert Committee selected by AICTE.

In the event that after this time of 4 years (counting one year expansion) the applicant neglects to finish his/her Ph.D. degree and/or inadmissible execution with respect to the hopeful, (as surveyed by the Expert Committee delegated by AICTE), the association would be ended.
