Age limit for OBC in Teacher Job

I want to apply for Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test so please give me all details and what is the age limit for candidates of OBC caste in State Government Teacher Job?

For Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test the State Council of Educational Research and Training, Punjab has invited applications in July 2014 may be next year they will invite application in month so you have to be prepared and updated for filling application.

PSTET details:

Paper I: For Classes I-V
Paper II: For Classes VI-VIII

Eligibility criteria:

For Classes I-V (Primary Stage): 12th with minimum 50 per cent marks and passed or should be appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.

For Classes VI-VIII (Elementary Stage): graduation and must have passed or should be appearing in final year of two-year Diploma in Elementary Education.


Age limits:

Minimum age: 18 years for all castes
Maximum age:
40 years for General
45 years for SC / ST
43 years for OBC / PH


Application fees:

For either Paper I or Paper II, application fee is Rs 600 (Rs 300 for SC/ST Category/Differently Abled candidates).

For both Paper I and Paper II, they are required to pay an application fee of Rs 1200 (Rs 600 for SC / ST Category/Differently Abled candidates).
