: Friend Yes , Students are absolutely Eligible for Ph.D after Completing MBA . But in one Condition First Students need to appear Entrance exam which is conducted by University.

Here I Sharing Information about Entrance exam to Admission in P.hd programme at Sikkim Manipal University :

Eligibility

A candidate seeking admission to the PhD Program of SMU should Have a Master’s Degree of this University or another Recognized University or Institute with a minimum of 55% marks.

In case of Candidates Holding a Qualifying Degree from Foreign Universities, Registration for the PhD will be confirmed after determination of equivalence by the relevant University body.

All candidates except those who have passed UGC/CSIR(JRF)/GATE/SLET/NET Examination score card / M.Phil qualified will appear for the PhD Entrance Examination conducted by the University.

Selection Process:

Selection of research scholars shall be based on the performance in both written test and interview to be conducted by the University twice in a year (June and December).

Teaching Assistantships

To encourage research at MUJ, a few teaching assistantship of Rs. 12,000/- per month are provided to full- time research scholars.
