Yes, it is good to do Chartered Financial Analyst after completing M.Com course.

Chartered Financial Analyst is conducted by the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India (ICFAI).

Here are details about CFA course:

Duration:
2 year fulltime / part time program

Eligibility:
The Student studying in final year of his graduation or those who are employed executives.

The Students with professional qualifications such as CA, CWA, M.S. (Finance), M.A. (Economics), M.S. (Accounting), M. Sc. (Stats) and MBA (Finance) are eligible to get waivers from some papers of the CFA course.

Late July 2013
June 2014 exam registration opens

25 September 2013
First fee schedule deadline for the June 2014 exam

October 2013
Supplemental study tools, including mock exams and topic-based practice assessments, become available

3 February 2014
Awareness scholarship application deadline

12 February 2014
