If you are pursuing a bachelors degree program from a recognized university, whether through regular class or through distance, you can definitely write Staff Selection Commission examinations conducted for the post of Sub-Inspector.

Here are SSC SI exam details;

Eligibility:
The applicants should be a graduate in any discipline from any recognized university for this purpose.

Those candidates who possess a valid DL (Driving License) will be preferred for this job.

Age Bar:
The maximum and the minimum ages of all the applicants should be as follows: 20 years and 25 years

Selection Process:
The candidates will be selected on the basis of their performances in the following examinations- Written Examination, PET (Physical Endurance Test), Skill Test and Interview/ Personality Tests respectively held for all the eligible candidates on the dates as specified for this purpose.

General Awareness :

Questions in this component will be aimed at testing the candidates’ general awareness of the environment around him and its application to society. Questions will also be designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of every day observations and experience in their scientific aspect as may be expected of any educated person. The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighboring countries especially pertaining to History, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General Polity, Indian Constitution, scientific Research etc.

Quantitative Aptitude:

The questions will be designed to test the ability of appropriate use of numbers and number sense of the candidate.
