Here are UP Teacher Eligibility Test details:

Name of Examination:
Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET)

Name of the posts:
1. Primary Level Class I to V
2. Language Teacher of Primary level
3. Upper primary Level Class VI to VIII
4. Language Teacher of upper primary level

Qualification:

1. For Primary Level teacher:
The applicant should have obtained Graduation degree with an aggregate marks of 50% marks.

Candidates must have either 2 years diploma in special education (D.Ed) OR BTC training from UP (approved by NCTE) OR

4 year diploma in elementary education

For Upper Primary Level teacher : Candidates must possess Graduation degree with an aggregate score of 50 % marks .

You must have either 1 year degree in elementary education (B.EL.ED) OR BTC training from UP (approved by NCTE ) OR 2 years course in BTC/CT (Nur)/ NTT (approved by NCTE).

Mode of Selection:

Selection will be based on Merit list.
Merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in UPTET written Exam.

Application fees
1. General & OBC Candidates are required to pay Rs. 300.
2. SC/ST Candidates are required to pay Rs. 150 only/-.

Exam Pattern:
Uttar Pradesh TET Exam will be held in 2 parts that will be held in 2 days in 2 shifts:

1. Paper I will be held for Primary level teachers (in 1st session) & Language Teacher of Primary level (in 2nd session)

2. Paper II will be held for Upper Primary level teachers (in 1st session) and Language Teacher of Upper Primary level (in 2nd session)

Tentative dates
Starting date for Online registration : 07-01-2015
Last date for Online registration : 21-01-2015
Last date for submission of fee through E-Challan : 25-01-2015
Last date for submission of application form : 28-01-2015
