CAT stands for the Common Admission Test which is taken by Indian Institute of Management for the admission in the Post Graduation course or Fellow course in the Management Field.

♦>> Eligibility Criteria :-

1. Applicants should have Graduate Degree in any field can apply for it.

2. A candidate must have secure at least 50% in their Academic career.

3. For SC/ST 45% marks are applicable..

4. Final year of Bachelor can also apply for the same.

♦>> Reservation :-

1. 7½% Reservation for Scheduled Tribe (ST)

2. 15% Reservation Scheduled Caste (SC)

3. 27% Reservation for Other Backward Classes (OBC) candidates belonging to the “non-creamy” layer.

♦>> Exam Pattern:-

•> Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning Related 30 Questions asked which you have to Ans. in 1 hour and 10 Minute.

•> Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation Related 30 Questions asked which you have to Ans. in 1 hour and 10 Minute.

Total time duration is 2 hour and 35 minute.

As you want to do MBA after completing B. Tech for that you have to do preparation of CAT entrance Exam so you need some good preparation tips so here I am giving you same:

You should maintain a time table for doing studies.

You should do study according to syllabus.

You should do study according to exam pattern.

You should solve last year question papers.

You should do study regularly.

You should do study seriously.

You should choose some good books.
