Central Bureau Of Investigation is the premier investigation of India.

The 1st step to join CBI as Sub Inspector is to clear the Combined Graduate Level examination conducted by Staff Selection Commission.

The candidate who clear 1st rounds then he/she have to qualify in the physical fitness round

The Final Selection based on Personal Interview

Age:
The age limit for this is 20-25 years.

Qualification
The candidate have to hold a degree from any university to apply for the examination.

Selection
Staff Selection Commission administers Combined Graduate Level Examination for several other posts in addition to the Sub-Inspector position in Central Bureau of Investigation

This examination tests the ability of the candidates through preliminary and main examinations.

Preliminary examination will have questions under following categories:
• English Comprehension
• Numerical Aptitude
• General Awareness
• General Intelligence and reasoning ability

While main examination will have questions to test following areas:
• Arithmetic ability
• Statistics
• English comprehension skills

Hey as per my idea Central Bureau of Investigation is the top most investigation agency in the country. It investigates the top and big cases in the country.For getting into that you need to write the exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission.


Age limit:

Applicants must have attained the age of 20 years

The upper age limit will be relaxed by 3 years for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.

The upper age limit is also relaxed in favour of certain categories of employees working under the Government of India and Defense Services Personnel.

Qualification required :

Applicants must have passed graduation of any stream.

Exam pattern

Paper I (English language)-

Language comprehension communication/writing- 200, Duration-2 hr.

Physical ability test.


Paper II (General test)-

General intelligence & Reasoning: 50 Marks.

General awareness: 75

Numerical ability: 75

total=200 Marks,Duration-2 hr.

Physical Requirements:

HEIGHT: For Male-165 cms.

For Female-150 cms.

CHEST: MALE- 76 cms.

No such requirement for females.

Good Eye Sight.

Selection criteria

Written test.

Physical test.

Interview.
