Sorry to say but there is no any scope of lateral entry in IITs & NITs.
But you can try for other institutes for lateral entry in second year directly.

IIT's and NIT's are not offer such type direct admission in 2nd year of B.Tech after completing B.Sc in IIT, or NIT.

If you really want to go for B.Tech then you have to appear in entrance exams like IIT-JEE.
After cracking this type of exam they will call you for admission in B.Tech.

Second year Engineering Students take a Written Test at Dedicated Centres in the Month of April.

Applicants will be short listed for an Interview Based on Written Examination Performance for Final Selection.
