After B.Com, can I apply for AFCAT
Tell me after B.Com can I apply for Air Force Common Admission Test, please provide details related to that???

Since you belong to commerce background, you are eligible to apply for the flying branch as well as ground duty branch through the Air Force Common Aptitude Test also known as AFCAT. However, to apply for the flying branch, you must have studied Maths and Physics at +2 level. Indian Air Force conducts Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) for candidates to recruit them to Flying, Technical and Ground Duty Officer Branches. Educational Qualification: The Candidates must possess Graduation in any discipline or B.E/ B.Tech with 60% marks for Flying Branch. Physical Requirements • Height and Weight: Minimum height : 162.5 cms with correlated weight, Leg Length : Min – 99 cms. Max – 120 cms. Thigh Length : Max – 64 cms. Sitting Height : Min – 81.5 cms. Max – 96 cms. • Vision: (a) Minimum Visual Acuity 6/6 in one eye and 6/9 in other, correctable to 6/6 only for hypermetropia. (b) Manifest Myopia – Nil. Selection Process: The Candidates will be selected based on the performance in AFCAT followed by Intelligence Test, Psychological Test, Group Test, Medical Test and Interview conducted by Air Force Selection Boards (AFSBs). Candidates applying for Flying Branch must appear for Pilot Aptitude Battery Test (PABT). |
