After 35 Years Eligible For Bank PO Exam

I am 35 years old . Am I eligible for the Bank PO exam in private or any government bank after scoring 70% in PG and 59.8% in UG?

If you Belongs to general Category then sorry to say that you are not eligible to apply for Bank PO Examination.

Because for bank PO examination your age must not be More than 30 Years.

But for Private banks your age must not be more than 25 to 28 years,

Upper age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC applicants

But If you Belongs to Other Category like SC/ST/OBC then you will get relaxation on Age, But you are 35 Years Now, So you are Not eligible to apply for Bank PO examination.

So, You are Not eligible to apply for Bank PO Examination form any bank Private and Public Banks and for more Information please check the Official websites.

For Nationalized banks Like SBI and IBPS, you need to complete your Graduation OR Post graduation degree course in any discipline from a recognised university and age should between 21 to 30 years, Final year graduate applicants are not eligible for Bank PO Examination.

Education Qualification Required are:- Under IBPS PO Recruitment Eligibility Criteria applicants must have finished their Graduation Degree from any recognized university or institution. Applicants are also required to submit their mark sheet numbers while they submit IBPS PO online form.

Nationality / Citizenship Eligibility:–

Participants must have these citizenship which is given below:

Citizen of Nepal
Citizen of Bhutan
A Tibetan refugee

All of Eligible applicants after checking IBPS PO Eligibility for all category of applicants such as General Category , OBC , SC/ST/PH.


So if you belong to general category then I regretfully inform you that you would not be eligible for it.

But if you belong to any other category mentioned above where the relaxation of age is up to Five years then you will be eligible.
