After 12 Commerce Eligible For IPS

I have completed 12 with Commerce stream . Am i eligible to become IPS officer ?

Sorry to say that after passing 12 with Commerce stream you are not eligible for IPS exam.

IPS exam is conducted by UPSC every year.
Eligibility criteria:-
Applicants who are completed their degree in any stream are eligible for IPS examination but your graduation must be complete from a recognized university.
Percentage is not required to apply this exam.
Aspirants must be a citizen of India.

Age criteria:-
Maximum age limit--> 30 years.
Minimum age limit--> 21 years,

Relaxation:
Five years for SC/ST category.
Three years for OBC category,

Selection procedure:-
Preliminary examination,
Mains examination,
Personal intervew.

Number of attempts:-
No limit for SC/ST category.
4 times for General category,
7 times for OBC category,
