Both Science and Commerce branches are good after 10 .Its totally depends on ones interest .

Science
Science course is again divided in to two sections i.e. applied and pure science course

applied = engineering and technology / medicine
pure = theoretical

Subjects:
Mathematics (is optional, but important for students planning for course related to Engineering etc., after XII)

Chemistry
Biology (is optional, but important for students planning for course related to Medicine etc., after XII)

Commerce
Commerce course studies with accounting, economics and related subjects related to trade and business.
