After 10th How to join Indian Army

Can I join Indian Army after 10th, how to join, please provide procedure here???

First of all it is to in form you that you can not join Indian Army just after passing 10th standard.

To join Indian Armed forced you have to complete at least 12th standard or Equivalent Exam.

Then after you have to appear in National Defence Academy (NDA) Exam held twice a year as NDAI & NDAII.

There is no restriction on 10th & 12th percentage to join Indian Army through NDA Exam.

NDA exam is conducted by UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) every year.

Basic requirements for NDA (Indian Army) are as given below:

You should have completed 12th standard/Equivalent Exam in any stream from recognized university/board.

You are also eligible to give NDA exam while perusing 12th standard.

Your age should be in between the 16.5 to 19 years.

You must be unmarried, male & citizen of India.

The NDA exam make the candidates can get the placement in the fields of

Army wing
Navy wing
Air Force wing

No, you are not eligible to join Indian army after 10th. To join Indian Army firstly you have to complete your 12th then you have to clear NDA exam.

National Defense Academy NDA exam is conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission). It is conducted twice a year, in the month of April and September.

NDA Exam eligibility-

For Army Wing of NDA

Class XII or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University

For Air Force and Naval Wings of NDA

Class XII or equivalent exam conducted by a State Education Board or a University with physics and mathematics as main subjects.

Age:

The candidate must be of 16-1/2 to 19 years of age.
