Amity University, Noida is a private nonprofit research university located in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. It was established in 2005 by an Act of State Legislature of Uttar Pradesh.

Amity University Uttar Pradesh Act has been notified by Govt. Notification No. 403/VII-V-I-I (Ka)

Amity University Uttar Pradesh has been accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC ) with "A" Grade

As per law, Universities do not require AICTE approval. Only institutions which are affiliated to Universities require approval. As Amity University is a Bonafide University established by a State Act, it does not require AICTE approval.
