Graduates of Aerospace Engineering are expected to have:
Ability to apply MATH (including Calculus and Differential Equations)
Ability to apply basic SCIENCE (chemistry, physics, etc.)
Knowledge of ENGINEERING principles and practice.
Knowledge of computer skills (programming, FORTRAN, MathCAD, use of software, etc.)
Ability to write effectively (reports, etc.)
Ability to speak effectively (presentations, visual aids, power-point, etc.)
Ability to function effectively as part of a team
Knowledge of professional and ethical responsibility
Knowledge of contemporary issues
Ability to identify, formulate and solve engineering problems
Ability to design a component, system, or process to meet desired needs
Ability to use the techniques, skills and modern engineering tools necessary for practicing engineers
Ability to design and conduct experiments
Ability to analyze and interpret data
Appreciation of the need to engage in life-long learning
Understanding of the impact of engineering solutions in a global and societal context
Knowledge of aerodynamics
Knowledge of aerospace materials, structures or space structures
Knowledge of propulsion
Knowledge of flight mechanics, stability and control and/or attitude determination and control
