The Staff Selection Commission is one of the most desirable organizations for Government exams in India.

Every year thousands of vacancies are filled by SSC in Government departments.
Govt is focusing on the development of our country and to do that millions of Jobs will be created in the coming years.

The Staff Selection Commission conducts Combined Higher Secondary Level exam every year for recruitment in various Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations of the Government of India.

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL, 10+2) Exam for recruitment to various posts like:

Postal Assistants/Sorting Assistants (PA/SA)
Data Entry Operator (DEO)
Lower Divisional Clerk (LDC).
Court Clerk.

SSC was released SSC CHSL Tier-II 201-18 new exam dates.
SSC CHSL Tier-II exam is scheduled on 15th July 2018 (Descriptive)

Important dates:

Application form will be available from 18th November 2017
Last date for registration 27th December 2017
SSC CHSL Tier-1 Exam 4th March to 26th March 2018
SSC CHSL Tier-2 Exam 15th July 2018

Pay Scale of the Posts

Lower Divisional Clerk (LDC)/Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA): Rs.5200 - 20200/- with Grade Pay Rs.1900/-
Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant: Rs.5200 - 20200/- with Grade Pay Rs.2400/-
Data Entry Operator (DEO): Rs.5200 - 20200/- with Grade Pay Rs.2400/-
Data Entry Operator, Grade "A": Rs.5200 20200/- with Grade Pay Rs.2400/-

Age Limit:
Candidates age should be 18-27 years

Paper pattern:
The question paper will be divided into 4 sections- English language, General Awareness, General Intelligence and Quantitative aptitude
There will be total 50 questions allotted to each section and the total marks for each section will be 50.
The duration of the examination will be 2 hours.
The questions will be of MCQ type.
The question paper will be available in both Hindi and English language for Section I, III and IV

There will be a penalty of marks for each wrong answer
i. General Intelligence - 50 marks
ii. English Language - 50 marks
iii. General Awareness - 50 marks
iv. Quantitative Aptitude - 50 marks
75 Minutes (total)
