Applicants who want to become a student member of Institute of Actuaries of India need to qualify the online entrance test conducted by the Institute itself. The entrance exam is called Actuarial Common Entrance Test or ACET which is comprise of objective type questions from Mathematics and Statistics subjects. Higher secondary education with English as one of the core subjects is the basic educational qualification required for the exam. One can only apply online for the exam. Application Procedure for ACET Candidates who have cleared higher secondary exam from a recognized board of studies with English as a subject are eligible to apply for the exam. Working professionals who have the required qualification in Mathematics can also apply. Candidates are can apply online from the official website of Institute. Rs. 3000/- is the examination fee. Fee payment can be made online only. After 15 days from the close of registration, candidates will get an email regarding exam center and time slot for the exam.
