I have completed Masters Degree and now want to do Ph.D. from the Central University of Himachal Pradesh Admission so please give me details about the admission procedure?

Central University of Himachal Pradesh is established under Central Universities Act 2009 of Indian Parliament.

The Headquarter of the University is located in Dharamshala, Kangra , Himachal Pradesh.

Eligibility
Candidate must have minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in Masters/ Post Graduate Degree from a recognised University or an equivalent exam in the disciplines.

Relaxation in minimum qualifying marks up to 5% shall be made in case of SC/ST and Persons with Disabilities Categories students

Admission Procedure
(a) Academic Score:
40% (25% of percentage of marks obtained in PG exam and 15% of percentage of marks obtained in UG exam)

(b) Research Qualification:
40% (40 marks for JRF) or 30 marks for NET/SET/SLET or 20 marks for MPhil with minimum 60% marks

(c) Personal Interview:
20%, for short listing the applicants for Personal Interview, a merit list shall be prepared on the basis of (a) Academic Score and (b) Research Qualification.
