Admission in B.Ed through Correspondence
Can you tell me about the admission in B. Ed course through correspondence after passing B.A with 43.75% from DU (Delhi University)?

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) organizes the entrance exam for the admission in the Bachelor of Education course. Eligibility Criteria A Bachelor or higher degree from a recognized university with 50% marks in Graduation The reservation for SC/ST/OBC and other categories is as per the rules of the Central Government. There is relaxation of 5% marks for them. 2 years full-time regular teaching experience on temporary/permanent basis as Primary/Graduate/Post-Graduate Teachers in Primary, Secondary/Higher/Senior secondary school recognized by the central or a state government or a union territory are eligible to take admission. There is no age bar for admission to the B.Ed programme. Admission Procedure Admission will be made on the basis of the score obtained in the entrance test conducted by IGNOU all over India. Scheme of Course: The Bachelor of Education course of the IGNOU is a 56 Credit Course divided into the following four groups: Group A- Core Courses Group B- Content –based Methodology Courses Group C- Special Courses Group D- Practical Courses Number of Seats: 100 Course Fee: Rs.20, 000 Duration of Course: Minimum is two years and Maximum is four years. |
