Action against CMJ University

Hi I would like to have the details of the actions which have been taken by the state as well as the central government in case of the CMJ University fake degree certificate scam?

In the wake of the discussion encompassing CMJ University, that move would be made against the University which has apparently hoodwinked numerous understudies by issuing fake degrees and authentications.

The Central Government would require the participation of the State Government for any activity against the questionable University

As things stand the UGC can do is to list CMJ University on their site as an organization of unsavoriness which is issuing deceitful degrees,

The Meghalaya government has endorsed disintegration of the CMJ University taking after a Supreme Court mandate after the self-financed University was discovered offering fake PhD degrees to understudies infringing upon the UGC standards

The training office had proposed the disintegration of the principal self-financed University (established in 2009) in the state a year ago in view of the suggestion of the then Governor R S Mooshahary.

Mooshahary had held up a FIR against the University's Chancellor, C M Jha, in the wake of finding that the University named after him was offering fake PhD degrees to understudies.
