National Eligibility cum Entrance Test was a qualifying entrance examination in India for students who want to study any graduate medical course (MBBS), dental course (BDS) or postgraduate course (MD / MS) in government or private medical colleges in India. NEET medical entrance exam is now replaced by AIPMT exam. Candidate who want to get admission in UG medical courses have to appear in AIPMT exam. The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test or NEET-UG is a qualifying entrance examination in India, for students who wish to study any graduate medical course (MBBS), dental course (BDS) or postgraduate course (MD / MS) in government or private medical colleges in India. Results & Scoring Process Eligibility PG courses a candidate to obtain a percentile of 50 and above in ‘National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test for Postgraduate courses’ held for the said academic year. candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, the minimum percentile shall be 40. candidates with locomotory disability of lower limbs, the minimum percentile shall be 45. NEET-PG Result Validity The validity of the result of the NEET-PG shall be only for the current admission session i session for MD/MS/PG Diploma courses and cannot be carried forward for the next session of admissions for MD/MS/PG Diploma. Schedule of admissions for MD/MS/PG Diploma courses is governed by Post Graduate Medical Education Regulations issued by Medical Council of India of India. 3.Result declaration The results for NEET shall be declared by January The mark sheet-cum-result certificate for the NEET-PG examination can be downloaded from the website of neetpg after the declaration of result. 4.result dispatching process The result will be sent to all candidates individually by post. 5. Merit Criteria Applicant obtaining same percentile, the merit position shall be determined by the number of wrong responses of such candidates. Applicant with less number of wrong responses shall be placed at higher merit. In case of tie with same percentile rank and same number of wrong responses, date of birth shall be considered to determine inter-se-merit. An elder applicant shall be placed at a higher merit failing which marks obtained in qualifying exam i.e. MBBS shall be considered. |
