CSIR conduct the Joint CSIR UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) in order to provide the Junior Research Fellowship to all the qualified candidates.

CSIR UGC NET 2016 will conduct on 19th June 2016.

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must have done 4 year program (B.Tech, B.E, B.Pharma, MBBS, M.Sc) .

Obtained at least 55 % from a recognized university.

Candidates who are appearing in the final year of M.Sc can apply for exam.

Age Limit :
For JRF (NET)-
Not be more than 28 years

For LS (NET) –
no age limit

Chemical Sciences
Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences
Life Sciences
Mathematical Sciences
Physical Sciences

General category- Rs. 1000/-
OBC/NCL category- Rs. 500/-
SC/ST/PH/VH category- 250/-
