The B.Ed Programme offered by IGNOU is an innovative programme utilizing self-instructional materials and information technology along with interactive personal contact programmes.

Candidates seeking admission in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) Course have to fill the onilne application form as per schedule.

The admission to this programme is on the basis of an Entrance Test to be conducted on 23 Oct 2016 (Sunday).

Duration – 2 years
Medium Instruction – English & Hindi

Application Form
Registration Fee is Rs. 1000/- at counter and Rs. 1050/- by post.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates with at least 50% marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree and/or in the Master’s Degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/Commerce/Humanity, Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the programme.

Candidates who have completed a NCTE recognized teacher education programme through face-to-face mode.
The reservation and relaxation of 5% marks in minimum eligibility will be provided to SC/ST/OBC (Non creamy layer)/PWD as per the rules of the Central Government/State Government, whichever is applicable.

Admission shall be done on the basis of the score obtained in the entrance test conducted by IGNOU all over India.
