3rd year engineering student become an IPS officer
Hey buddy! Myself Jitendra and I am perusing my engineering in 3rd year. Would you please tell me that am I eligible for IPS exam??

Sorry to say jitendra but you are not eligible for UPSC exam at 3rd year of engineering. But don’t get disappoint, you can apply at final year of engineering so you have a year to do your best preparation. This is golden time for you. Here I am providing Eligibility for IPS exam: Eligibility: • Candidate must have Graduate or a final year student from the recognized University. • AGE: 21-30 Years • Nationality: Indian. • Attempts: General: 4 attempts, I hope it would be helpful for you. Friend for your Help , Here I want to tell you 3rd year Engineering Student are not Eligible for IPS Examination. IPS (Indian Police Service or Indian Postal Service) examinations are conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission). Educational Eligibility: Candidates must have Pass graduation / Bachelor’s Degree in any Subject or in any Engineering Stream from a Recognized Institute / University. Final year appearing candidates can also apply. Age Limit for IPS Exam are as follows: - For General Candidates 21 Years to 30 Years For OBC Candidates 21 Years to 33 Years and For SC / ST Candidates : 21 Years to 35 Years Attempts: For General: 4 attempts, For OBC: 7 attempts, For S/C S/T: No limit. |
