The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education was established by the Government of West Bengal. The State Government has gave from the academic year new scholarship scheme named ‘West Bengal Government Merit-cum-Means Scholarship Scheme’ for offering financial help to the poor but meritable students of the State following higher studies at several post-Madhyamik levels
