Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU) was launched by the Government of Uttar Pradesh on 8th May 2000. UPTU discovers to facilitate and nurture the quality of technical education and research in its own assumptions as well as all associating institutions. U.P. being the biggest state of India with an area of about two lacs forty thousand square kilometers and population of more than 165 million people makes UPTU as one of the biggest technical universities not only in India. The project of the UPTU at the moment admits directing the State level Entrance Examination U.P.-S.E.E. for admission to several programs affiliated to UPTU.
