University Of Jammu And Kashmir
The University of Azad Jammu and Kashmir was launched in 1980 at Muzaffarabad, Azad Jammu and Kashmir. The University of Azad Jammu and Kashmir have many-campus, many-discipline university. It consists of the main campus situated at Muzaffarabad and four outlying university colleges. The main campus provides program in the basic sciences and in the humanities. The science group includes the sections of Botany, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Zoology, Computer Sciences and Information Technology, and the Institute of Geology. The Departments of English, Law, Art and Design, and the Kashmir Institute of Economics make up the humanities group. Also situated at Muzaffarabad is the Kashmir Information Resource Centre.
