University Of Health Sciences Lahore
The University of Health Sciences (UHS) Lahore is a student-centered research university placed in Lahore, the capital of the Punjab province of Pakistan. It was introduced on October 2, 2002. As of 2009, about 26,000 undergraduate and 2600 postgraduate students are recorded. UHS began as a model medical university in 2002, with the aim to revitalize medical education and its standards in Punjab. Presently all government medical colleges and private medical colleges in Punjab are attached with it, except King Edward Medical University and Fatima Jinnah Medical College.
