Thiruvalluvar University was launched under the Thiruvalluvar University Act, 2002 by the Government of Tamil Nadu on 16.10.2002. It has been called after Thiruvalluvar, the great sage of Tamil Nadu. All departments of Thiruvalluvar University provide post-graduation and research programs. It was begun to accomplish the motto of authorizing the society with higher educational facilities. Faculties of the University have entered in many national and international Seminars/ Conferences/ Workshops and presented research papers. All departments of Thiruvalluvar University provide post-graduation and research programs.
